Wimbledon, the tennis championship held each year in London, was founded in 1877 and brings together the sport’s most elite athletes. The Grand Slam tournament (the only one still played on grass!) is taking place this year from July 1 to 14, with qualifying rounds taking place from June 24 to 27.
